This group is for anyone interested in exploring the world around them using a GPS-based treasure hunt for fun and exercise. Five million people are playing worldwide - hikers, and couch potatoes, retired folk and young families... it really is for anyone. Be a part of our community -come and learn and share your sense of adventure with like-minded people.

We decided to start this group as we would like to meet other couples who enjoy exploring Victoria's wilderness parks, lakes, and coast line. We enjoy about one hour to an hour and a half easy to moderate grade walks. We don't aspire to beng backpacking hikers. Please join us if you enjoy the same types of walks.

I would like to encourage young children to develop a love for the outdoors, and create an environment that encourages children to bond with their parents by doing some fun outdoors activities. I also hope to create an environment that will help them learn the value of friendship and of being part of a community. Some of the activities I have in mind are hiking, cross country skiing, canoeing, camping, tobogganing, cycling, swimming in lakes or rivers, and whatever else we can come up with.

Victoria Sport & Social Club (VSSC) offers adults a fun outlet through co-ed recreational sport leagues, tournaments, and social events. These leagues and events are a great way to stay active, meet friends, expand your social circle, or learn a new sport. All games are co-ed and self officiated. This is an activity and social group for all ages. We enjoy exploring greater Victoria area and Vancouver Island.
