I've set up this group as I am planning to walk the great Compostella de Santiago Piligrimage route (800 km) from Southern France to the end of Spain. Up to 200,000 people from around walk this route every year now and it is very well organised with lodges and hotels every 20 or so miles. This walk goes back to pre-Christian, Celtic, times and ends at a place called Fin de Terra (which means end of the earth, as until Columbus everyone thought that the world ended at that point - the most wester …

For over 25 year olds. A group, for like minded social people, to meet others in a safe friendly environment. Its about adult interaction and carefree fun. Great for all, partnered or single folks. This is not a dating group. :-) To build friendships, with like minded individuals, that you may not have got to meet, in other areas of your life ordinarily. Its about making new friends on the North Shore, whereby each meetup will be easy to attend distance wise. Having smaller numbers in most even …
I'm a mum with two small kids keen to lose weight and feel energised and fabulous! A friend has started a similar group for women in Wellington, so I thought I'd put my feelers out to find other ladies like me who are keen to gently increase their fitness, make new friends, and commit to regular brisk walking (with the view maybe to jogging) sessions.
This is a group for all keen fisho's to meet up and hopefully organise fishing charters or hiring of boats in Auckland to go out for a day in the Hauraki Gulf doing what we all enjoy catching fish. If any member joins that owns a boat that would be great if they would consider taking out a group and sharing the cost of Fuel, Bait etc... We could also organise trips outside of Auckland and possibly for Fishing Tournaments like on the Coromandel Peninsula or Bay of Islands.
