Join other hiking enthusiasts in an intense, but short workout. Mission Peak is a peak east of Fremont, California with an elevation of 2,517 ft (767m). We meet at the Stanford Avenue entrance by the picnic table. This is a strenuous hike with a constant uphill climb until you reach the summit. We do not take breaks until we reach the summit. (Fremont / Union City / Newark) A fun local way to stay in shape for those longer weekend hikes with other groups or just to stay healthy and meet new people. Beautiful panoramic views of the bay area all the way from San Jose to San Francisco. Let fun social activity pull you outdoors after work rather than having to push yourself to exercise by yourself. Initial plan is for about 1 to 1.5 hour hikes on week nights during daylight savings time starting at about 6:00 PM.

If you're a girl who likes firearms or would simply like to learn how to properly handle a gun then this group is for you. We'll discuss the basics of firearm safety, how to shoot a gun and schedule monthly outings to some local indoor and outdoor shooting ranges and gun shows.
