This is a hiking group for people who, like me, hike at a slow and steady pace. I love the outdoors and I love hiking, but am often lagging behind. However, like the tortoise, I keep a steady pace and always get there in the end. We will do mostly medium-length hikes ( 4 - 6 miles) with elevation gains of under 1500 feet and a pace of book time +50%. Our hikes are also paced to keep everyone in the group more or less together through the entire hike. Weather is obviously a major factor in any of our hikes.
