We will have Hiking, Biking and Kayaking Meetups as well as Meetups tied to the events effecting the Outdoors of our Communities. You do not have to be a member of the Sierra Club to join this group. Out ‘n About is geared for families with kids aged 3-9. We organize moms' time out, kids' field trips that require a minimum group size to attend (particularly volunteering, outdoor exploration & educational events) and fun activities that you could do on your own but that are even better with good company.  We also post dozens of local community events. What is Dragon Boating? Dragon Boating is an ancient Chinese tradition and one of the most up and coming sports in the US. Tell me about a dragon boat . – I always say it is an over sized canoe. The boat is very colorful with dragon head and tail put on the boats for racing. The boats are 43 feet long, seats 20 paddlers, a drummer and a steersperson for a total of 22 people on the boat.
