The Wisconsin Outdoor Group is for recreational enthusiasts who enjoy exploring Wisconsin. Our excursions are meant to introduce adventurers to new places, unique experiences and wild inhabitants of our beautiful state. As we explore our trails, parks, forests and natural wonders, we learn from one another about outdoor activities and conservancy practices that help to preserve these precious resources.

From Ice Age glacial moraine landscapes to the quartzite bluffs of Devil's Lake to the steep hills and valleys of the the Driftless Area, southern Wisconsin is a wonderful place to explore on foot.  There may not be any mountains, but the area has a lovely scenic value all its own. I love biking and want to get to know others that like to bike as well. I wanted to create a group that can be inclusive of everyone. We will go on short bike rides that anyone can participate in, no matter what their bicycle knowledge or skill level is. This is the official Meetup group of the Madison Sports and Social Club. MSSC is an organization that runs sports leagues and organizes social events in the Madison area.
